Changemaker Spotlight: Dr. Martha Potts, ThirdSpace Action Lab

Dr. Martha Potts joined ThirdSpace Action Lab (TSAL) as the awareness building manager in 2021 and leads operations for the Racial Equity Institute Workshops.

Dr. Potts left a career at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority to pursue a doctorate in organizational behavior at Case Western Reserve University. Her research focus is human systems transformation with a specific passion in understanding how individuals, groups, organizations, communities, and nations achieve positive growth and sustainable transformation in the midst of adversity. 

She is currently interested in the use of Gestalt theory in identity expansion and transformation in Black communities (specifically, those in the 18-30 year range) and is working on a project entitled, Revolution As An Internal Job: The Power of Gestalt.
